The piece is a true antique and dates back to the period from 1850 to 1870. This piece belongs to The Sarreguemines' Nations series which the company represented many countries from the Western World. The piece specifically designed to represent the United States at the time, therefore it might have a higher collection value in the US. The piece was decorated by transfer method, and was enhanced by hand paintings in various points. The piece depicts a native American couple or a fatehr and a daughter during their dily life. The girl depicted laying on the hammock while the male figure is depicted smoking tabacco.
