The piece dates back to the period between 1930-1970. The piece is decorated with a crane depiction, rest of the decoration is monochrome. The piece is marked with a pentagonal maker's mark, which is documented as Japanese in several databases alongside mid-century label. The piece's design do really resemble the Royal Copenhagen Porcelain as well, since there is likely a mutual inspiration. The piece has a removable metal rim and a dark brown glazed pottery base.
