Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: An antique Chippendale walnut corner cupboard Possibly made in Virginia, late 18th/early 19th Century Of triangular section with outset cornice with dentilled molding, the case fitted with two glazed (glass) shelves opening to a shelved interior, over two blind cupboard doors, on short feet. approximately 7 feet tall, 4 feet wide CONDITION: appears to be in good condition with some commensurate to age and use. PROVENANCE: acquired in 1977 by client's parents, thence by inheritance $800-1,200 *represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
