Approximately 10.5 inches Tall and 9.5 inches from tail to tusk. Approximately 2 inches thick at the thickest part. Weighs over 2.2kg or 5 pounds It has some scratches visible in the photos. It keeps very good time as it was serviced and repaired by a world renowned Horologist from Solvang California in 2008. (Information on the Horologist available upon request.) I can not find another one like it. It is of course a wind up clock for any desk or mantel. Google shows other antique cast iron clocks by Regent Mfg.Chiago. But No elephant clocks! I have searched for 50 years and never seen another one.

Good morning, Edward, Thank you for submitting photographs for appraisal at Mearto. I also have not been able to find other elephant clocks by Regent Mfg but sales of other of their clocks all seem to be selling in the $150-500 range, most from the late 19th and early 20th century. I don't see the copper elements in this clock - perhaps you are referring to the pagoda on the elephant's back that holds the clock mechanism? If this were sold in Thailand, the elephant motif might be a factor to drive interest. I hope this information has been useful to you; please let us know if you have additional questions or if we can be of any assistance to you in the future. Thanks again for using Mearto.
