I had the Colt SAA recently authenticated by Colt with paperwork. The original gun was shipped to Western Arm and Cartridge Company in Salt Lake Ciy, Utah on April 22,1887. I have many photos of the gun along with the paperwork. The gun was originally shipped with rubber grips but they were upgraded at some point with the Colt eagle grips.

The presented object appears to be a Colt Single Army Action 1883 SAA revolver. It has the serial number 118376 which dates this into the year 1887. The gun was originally shipped with rubber grips but they were upgraded at some point with the Colt eagle grips. 2 piece checkered gutta-percha grips featuring an Eagle and Rampant Colt on either side Comparable objects were recently offered and sold on the international auction market. This piece is in bad to medium condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided. A fair market estimation would be between 1.600 to 2.200 USD. This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary. With kind regards, George
