Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: An antique late Victorian or Edwardian Chinoiserie scarlet lacquer and gilt decorated side cabinet English, late 19th/early 20th Century The rectangular rounded edged hinged top lifting over an open well, the exterior fitted with a short drawer, over a recessed panel cabinet door flanked by engaged spool-turnings, all on short bracket feet. Red lacquer surface with figures in a landscape, the sides and lower front with gilt stencil decoration. 31 inches high, 28 inches wide, 16 inches deep CONDITION: appears to be in good condition with some wear commensurate to age and use.
