Dear Mary,
Your room divider is made in China in first half 20th century. Painting is not very fine, its quite rude and there is some wear on the panels. That influences the value significant. These screens are purely decorative and because they are so prominent they need to be in good condition. I'm afraid I have a different value in mind then the past appraisal. It is an atmospheric piece and there will be demand from the market but I feel my estimation is fair.
