Hi Jonathan, Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. The "Carlsbad China Austria" mark was used by Bawo & Dotter in Fischem, Austria, from 1884-1913. Regretably, most of the auction results for this maker bring very little money at auction. Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: An antique Bawo & Dotter parcel gilt porcelain bowl made in Fischem, Austria, probably circa 1900 Of oval section and gilt shell-form handles at each end, the shaped sides decorated with portrait medallions of Rococo style figures with sunburst borders surrounded by gilt fleur-de-lys, marked to the underside, in a white glazed ground overall with shell and scroll decoration overall. 3 inches high, 13 inches long, 9 inches deep CONDITION: rubbing to some of the gilt highlights and the marks. PROVENANCE: acquired at auction $30-50* *represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary. Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, or questions/concerns, and thank you again for using Mearto. ~ Delia
