Traditional Imari Style Footed Dish or Compote Royal Crown Derby Early 20th century England Traditional Imari Style The Traditional Imari pattern was inspired by Japanese Imari porcelain, which was first imported to England in the 17th century. The vibrant colors and intricate designs make it a stunning addition to any table setting. Cobalt blue and iron red are the predominant colors. Gold accents are used throughout with the common stylized floral motifs and diamond lozenges. The piece is made of fine bone china that was hand-painted and decorated. Very good condition. May have pigment specks, pits or bumps from manufacturing. Measures: 3" height x 5" width. Believed to be pattern: 2451.
