Dear Dale and Laney, Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. My sincere apologies for the delay with the appraisal. The presented object appears to be a lithographie in colors on paper with 20 x 16 inches measurements. The painting depicts an abstract motif. It was made by Clemence Wescoupe in the year 1979. Numbered 389/500. Clemence WESCOUPE is an artist born in Canada in 1951 and deceased in 2018. The artist's works have gone up for sale at public auction 135 times, mostly in the Print-Multiple category. The oldest auction recorded on our site is Great Mother sold in 2000 at Levis Fine Art Auctions (Print-Multiple) and the most recent is A Child And The Great Spirit sold in 2023 (Painting). Comparable objects were recently offered and sold on the international auction market. This piece is in good condition and no severe damage is visible in the images provided. A fair market estimation would be between 50 to 100 USD. This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
