What does this mean?

Good morning, Debra,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. So that I may best assist you, can you please confirm if you just have the two plates?

Thanks!
Delia

Hello Delia.

Yes, I only have the two.
Respectfully,
Debra

Good afternoon, Debra,

Thank you for confirming the number of plates. There were many firms that made this pattern of plate – it’s a stylized spiderweb – but without a makers mark it’s hard to be certain who made these. They are handsome but regrettably, do not have much value on the current auction market, which are the values Mearto provides.
Based on the photographs and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

A pair of American or English pressed blue glass dinner plates
First half 20th Century
In a stylized spiderweb pattern
10 inches diameter
CONDITION: not examined in person but appear to be in good condition, commensurate with age and use.
PROVENANCE: Purchased at garage sale 40+ years ago in Portland Maine
$25-35*
*Represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.

Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, and thank you again for using Mearto.

Thank you so much for the input.

I'm sorry, is the $25-35 per plate or both together?
Thank you.
Debra

Delia Feb 14, 11:45 UTC

It is for both together
