Hello Tim, I’m very glad that you chose Mearto for your online appraisal, Considering the photographs, overall pattern, knot density and the colours, I concluded that this is a Machine Made Rug with a Composite Style composed of Oriental, Chinese and French tastes on the rug. The piece is quite contemporary and although it was made in Turkey, it was labeled by a company from Kuwait. This means that the piece was an export piece to Middle-East. The piece is decorated entirely floral. The piece represents the contemporary Chinese Rugs that was inspired from French Aubusson Rugs. The piece is centrally decorated with a bouquet of flowers. The piece is dominantly decorated with the tones of red. The piece is not a collectable and does not hold any artistic value. The piece is in good condition without visible problems. Likely made of fiber material. Machine made. Dimensions: 120 Inches by 80 Inches Condition: The piece is in good condition without visible problems. Provenance: Purchased at the downtown market in İncirlik, Turkey from a dealer in 1997. 20-40$.
