Asian landscape on gold paper approximately 11.5" tall and 5" wide

Not sure who painted this. It has the name "Shaw" printed under what I assume is the signature. It is either ink or watercolor landscape portrait on what appears to be gold paper. It appears older.

Dimensions

11.5" tall by 5" wide. That is the painting, not the frame.

Dear Anthony, Thank you for choosing Mearto for your online appraisal. Based on the images and available information, this item is: A vintage Chinese Painting on Gold Paper of a Landscape (11.5" x 5"). It is signed on the bottom left corner in the manner of Xian (1618-1689). Remarkable detailed mountainous scene with small house. These paintings were highly coveted in history, with most emperors commissioning artists to create their own painting to be hungover in their courts. This is understandable as silk was considered to be the purest and most valued material in those time periods. Very good condition. Retail prices may vary
