Hi Eve, Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. This was almost certainly made for the export / tourist market, in either China or Japan (not marked, it's hard to know exactly which), first half of the 20th Century. Nicely decorative but not very valuable, historically. Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: An Asian school watercolor and ink on paper or silk picture first half 20th Century Depicting a young beauty in a landscape, matted and framed, apparently unsigned framed 82 by 46 inches CONDITION: not examined out of the frame but appears to be in good condition overall. PROVENANCE: inherited $400-600* *represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary. Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, and thank you again for using Mearto.
