Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: A George III satinwood inlaid mahogany and gilt metal mounted tea caddy English, late 18th/early 19th Century Of rectangular section banded-edge-inlaid top with shell inlay to the top and bottom of the top, the interior fitted with two reserves with lift-off tops with ivory pulls flanking a central reserve with (later) cut/pressed glass vessel, on four paw-form gilt-metal feet.; the sides with lion's-head form ring handles.
