Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: An antique/vintage Rococo style parcel gilt and hand-painted porcelain courtier playing a lute appears to bear the underglaze blue mark for VEB Oldest Volkstedt Porcelain Factory, Volkstedt, Germany, mid 20th Century The male figure in late 18th Century court garb with yellow frock coat, brown wig, blue and lace cuffs, burgundy breeches, white stockings and black heeled shoes, holding a lute and standing in contrapposto on a shaped base with floral decoration, marked to the bottom. Impressed underneath "V20042" and with number "5" and traces of red mark. 8 inches tall CONDITION: appears to be in good condition; value assumes no chips, cracks, repairs or losses.
