Antique Oak turn of the century dresser

White oak dresser and mirror. 2 pieces, mirror attached to bottom. Mirror is: 38”W x 44”H x 1.5” D. Dresser itself is: 34”H x 44”W x 19”D ~ it is a family heirloom from my great grandfather in Minnesota. It’s now in Los Angeles, my mom estimates it’s probably a turn of the century piece, about 100 years old. Excellent condition. Knobs all original except for one missing. That’s been remade with wire. Lions etched in material, maybe bronze or gold? Not sure.

Yes, you are correct in the age of this piece; there were a lot of companies making this kind of furniture in the early 20th Century and they are often marked in some way with the name of the maker (label, brand, stamp, etc, on the back, bottom or inside of one of the drawers). If you happen to find a mark, please let me know and I'll see if that warrants re-evaluating this appraisal.
