I inherited an antique flintlock rifle that was displayed on a plaque on the wall. It is a martin squirrel gun, don't know the caliber, but guessing .32. It has an octagonal barrel with iren sights and is in pretty good shape.
Owned by my uncle.
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The presented object appears to be a single barrel shotgun. This gun was produced by Marlin Firearms in New Haven. The caliber is unknown and this gun has a cartridge based system and not a flintlock system.
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation would be between 150 to 300 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
