Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: An antique Empire style carved mahogany velvet-upholstered sofa American or English, late 19th Century With shaped and scrolled back over tall scrolled arms with swans-neck ends, molded front rail, all raised on scrolled feet. With a deep blue velvet upholstery and two cylindrical squab cushions. (DIMENSIONS) CONDITION: lacking some facing molding above one foot; otherwise condition appears to be generally in good condition with wear commensurate to age and use. Upholstery probably replaced.
