Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: A 19-piece white table linen set Probably French, dating between late 19th/early 20th Century and mid 20th Century Comprising a large rectangular table cloth, a small square table cloth, 5 square napkins and 12 larger square napkins. All hand-worked using Bourdon point embroidery, French knots; the large tablecloth additionally with Richelieu cutwork. Large Tablecloth centering foliate design, with foliate spandrels (approximately 69 by 100 inches) Small tablecloth with foliate decoration and pierced edge (approximately 43 by 43 inches) (5) small napkins with floral decoration to one corner (approximately 10 1/2 by 10 1/2 inches (12) larger napkins with floral decoration to one corner (approximately 16 1/2 by 16 1/2 inches) CONDITION: all appear to be in good condition; value assumes no stains, tears or repairs PROVENANCE: inherited $600-900 for the set* *represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
