Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: An antique French provincial marble-top pine commode late 19th Century Of rectangular section, the top mounted with a molded-edged green marble top, the case with egg-and-dart carved molding over three cupboard doors, two with faux-bookshelf facades with leather bindings, opening to a shelved interior, flanking a paneled cupboard door opening to a shelved interior, over a gadrooned and acanthus-carved bottom rail centering a relief-carved "Green Man" mask, on short cabriole legs. 34 1/2 inches tall, 42 3/4 inches wide, 14 inches deep CONDITION: appears to be in good condition PROVENANCE: inherited $800-1,200* *represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
