This is not by Capodimonte but by a pottery emulating their style, and later (If it was an original Capodimonte piece it would have the crowned N mark). Many potters made copies so it's hard if not impossible to say which one made this Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: A pair of vintage Capodimonte style parcel gilt porcelain figural lamps made in Italy, 20th Century Each with Rococo style figures - a man and a woman - seated, the body of the lamps each profusely decorated with C-scrolls and flowers, marked "203A / Made / in / Italy"; each surmounted by a shaped silk shade with fringe decoration. 20 inches tall overall; 10 inches diameter CONDITION: Lamps appear to be in good condition; value assumes no chips, breaks, repairs or losses, and that lamps are in working condition PROVENANCE: inherited $75-125 per lamp or $150-250 for the pair* *represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
