Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a mid 20th century north african Tuareg dagger. The handle is made from bone and black wood, the scabbard is made from brass. This would be a typical weapon used by the Tuareg people in the western Sahara. The estimate is based on similar items sold at auction. There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to it.
