The piece likely dates back to the period from 1930 to 1950. The piece is a classic period Kerman, it is heavily decorated with densely designed floral motifs. The piece is centrally decorated with a central medallion, this medallion is horizontally alligned. The piece's colour palette is also appropriate for the period with a similar palette to the paneled Bakhtiari Rugs. Of course the design is quite very different. There are two lanterns hanging from both sides of the cenral medallion, these lanterns are shaped in a sort of vase style. The piece can be considered as a semi-antique piece.
