The item appears to be composed of paint on wood with wax, paper mache and found objects. I would attribute it to New York artist Carolyn Sheehan (American, born 1956). The estimate is based on recent auction estimates of mixed media artworks by the artist. At the moment, the artist does not have any recent auction results for mixed media artworks. Sheehan is new to the auction market but has strong estimates.
