I have gone through all of my doll books and can't find that YG mark in any of them, which suggests that this was from a maker with a small production, possibly even a craft dollmaker. The body looks like rubber - strongly suggesting mid 20th Century. Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: A vintage youth rubber doll unattributed maker, probably American, mid 20th Century A young boy with reddish hair and blue eyes, white blouse, black/dark gray knickers and molded shoes and socks. Marked to the back YG 7 1/2 inches tall CONDITION: appears to be in good condition PROVENANCE: inherited $50-75* *represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
