I have 6 cups & 5 saucers allcin perfect condition. Milk Glass with enamelled detail. Some of the detail is raised. The cup is about 2 inches or 5 cm tall, the saucer is about 13.5 cm diameter at widest point. Please provide information re origin, date & value?

Dear Gioia, Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. The presented object appears to be a set of six cups and 5 saucers with blue decoration. These milk glass pieces were made around 1900 probably in Great Britain. A second center for the production of milk glass was France but the more geometric decoration fits better with Great Britain. Sadly there is no mark visible. Comparable objects were recently offered and sold on the international auction market. This piece is in good condition and no severe damage is visible in the images provided. A fair market estimation would be between 20 to 50 USD. This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary. With kind regards, George
