The design of the necklace with the multiple strands and the lovely jade clasp is very smart and classic. It was probably made during the middle of the 20th century when pearls were very popular and fashionable. Unfortunately pearls are not that expensive at the moment, however the beautiful and unsual jade clasp adds a very nice touch to the necklace and makes it special. The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online jewellery auction, where I believe the necklace has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the pearl necklace. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
