Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be one penny of the 657,796,000 minted at the Philadelphia Mint, those don´t have a mintmark. This coin is still available in abundance, only those that were in no circulation or those in "proof" condition would be collectable. Unfortunately this coin is at best of sentimental value to you. I wish you much better luck with your next find.
