1920's era embroidered purse- named

A hand-embroidered purse that has the name, Rowena Lee Teagle, engraved on the inside of the sterling silver frame. Duplicate scene on both sides.. The interior is silk with a small mirrror sewed into it. Rowena Teagle was born in 1885 and died in 1968. She married Walter Teagle in 1911 and they had one son. Teagle was the president of Standard Oil (Exxon) from 1917-1937 and ceo from 1937-1942. He had to resign when it was revealed that Standard Oil was, indirectly, selling oil to Nazi Germany even though he had two sons in the USAAF. They, including their son, founded the Teagle Foundation. Rowena was a co-founder of the the Baker Institute for Animal Health after Walter's death. Both entities are still in existence.
