Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: A Belgian Gothic Revival style carved walnut double pedestal kneehole desk 20th Century Of rectangular section with corresponding complex molded edged top over a frame fitted with two pedestal supports with folio shelves to the left and short drawers to the right, linen-fold carved panels to the sides and front, the back with figural relief carvings to all three panels, acanthus and egg-and-dart carving to the moldings with short drawers, and a box base. The back mounted with a large iron escutcheon. Apparently not marked. 30 inches tall, 60 inches wide, 36 inches deep CONDITION: appears to be in very good condition commensurate with age and use.
