Good morning, Beth, thanks for confirming the piece count.
Noritake dinner services - even unused ones - are generally selling between $1-2/piece at auction these days. That particular "Komaru" mark was used for just one year - 1947 - before another mark was used, but at least we can date your set pretty accurately.

Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A Vintage Noritake porcelain parcel gilded part dinner service
Made in Occupied Japan, 1947, comprising:
12 dinner plates
12 soup plates
12 dessert or salad plates
12 bread plates
12 small bowls
12 cups
12 saucers

CONDITION: Not examined in person but appears to be in good condition, commensurate with age and use.
