- have the time and availability to respond to up to 10 online appraisal requests per day.
- ensure that appraisal requests are handled with the highest standard of accuracy and in a timely manner.
- have experience in the art and antiques market with credentials from leading appraiser organizations.
- have experience with online appraisals.
- have experience searching art and antiques databases.
- have the ability to work independently, be detail-oriented, accurate, discreet, dependable and resourceful.
- possess strong written (English) communication skills and be customer-service minded.
- be able to answer additional questions from clients, track requests and make sure customers receive answers in a timely manner, request further information from clients, if necessary, and provide the customers with guidance on options for consignment and sale.
- be eager to learn the Mearto online appraisal system and internal processes.
