WW2 Important unique Militaria Latvian Pokerwork Wood presentation Charger 1946. From preliminary research, it shows a battle near a famous latvian tower. According to the seller i bought it from, this art piece was done in a Latvian Displaced Person (DP) camp in Neustadt Germany after these prisoners were released from Nazi Concentratin Camp. From my research, the story seems to check our but i would like your opinionl Also, there is a message on the back in pencil thanking Major D.L.Wright, who i believe was a major within the united nations, responsible for helping these DP.
