The width of the handle is about 1 1/2 inches. The width of the top part of the sword is 1.25. There is a sword release on the handle. The length is 38 inches long with the sheath on it. 36 inches without it on. There is a number engraved on the blade of 47264

This was left to me by my Grandfather/adopted dad. He was in the army, he told me he got the swords when he was in WW 2. I have a second one as well. It’s a little different than this one I’m posting.
