Good morning, Melody,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. So that I may best assist you, is it possible for you to take a photo so that the entire chair is in the photo? Also, a photograph from the side so I can see the profile?

Thanks, Melody, for the photographs and dimensions.
The market for this kind of furniture has changed quite a bit; comparable chairs are not bringing more than a couple hundred dollars at auction these days, at most.
Based on the photos, and the information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

A Victorian mahogany rocking armchair
English, mid 19th Century
The continuous low back raised on short arm supports over a needlepoint back and shaped sprung seat, all on squared cabriole front legs, on rockers
Seat 20" wide; 19"deep; 15 3/4 " tall; Arm rests 2 1/4" wide
CONDITION: appears to be in original condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
*represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
