What does this mean?

Dear Amy,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.

The presented object appears to be a wooden sculpture with measurements of 20 inches in height. The statue depicts a temple guardian in Thai style. This piece was probably made in the 20th century and perhaps the traces of the age are added artificially. Nevertheless, this is a decorative statue that has its value on the market.
This piece is in medium condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 60 to 120 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.

With kind regards,
Georg
