1998 bottle Wente Late Harvest Riesling, Monterey, Arroyo Seco. Harvested December 16, 1998 at 27.8 degrees Brix. Reducing Sugar at bottling 9.5%. Poduced and bottled at Livermore CA. .
Went to a special pre-fixed dinner at the Wente Vineyard dining room 1999 in Livermore CA. This wine was served with our dessert and I fell in love with it. I bought a case of it there and shared it with friends over the years. I few remaining bottles still lay in a cool, dark area. It is a joy to drink and savor with any dessert.
