What does this mean?

This is a vintage 20th century, English Staffordshire pitcher and wash basin set that was made by Crownford from Burlsem, England and is in their Blossomtime pattern. The pattern is transferprinted in color, not hand painted. Crownford was originally known as Ford & Sons, earthenware and bone china manufacturer at Newcastle Street, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, North Staffordshire. The name was changed to Crownford in 1938 until around 1961. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
