Description

Vintage french renissance tapestry, with a taveren scene made in Belgium, looks to be woven, dated back since 1959 of posession. 59" long x 18" height. Would love to sell immediately. I have no use for it.

Provenance

It was given to my mother from an elderly lady back in 1958 or 1959. I inherited it after my mothers passing.

Thank you for your request. The apprised object is a tapestry depicting a tavern scene. This tapestry was made in Belgium and is machine woven. Pieces like this were made in the late 19th and first half of the 20th century. This piece was made with highly probably in the 1930s.
This piece is in medium condition and there just little damages visible.
An estimation would be between 40 to 80 USD.
