Really big clam fossil from the Paleozoic era I think. It’s 24 inches long by 13 inches wide 7 inches tall at the tallest point and 1 inch tall at the thinnest point. It was found in southern Illinois about 12 foot deep in a sand layer. Very heavy. As well as a possible value, would it be possible for there to be a fossilized pearl inside? Any information on this would be greatly appreciated. As well as history other info too.
Unknown.
