Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be japanese painting on silk, depicting trailing wisteria over a pond, with two carp swimming in the water. The seal most likely reads 雯山印, the signature most likely 高 (?)山畫, which unfortunately does not lead to a specific artist. Such paintings were made in large numbers by talented artists who´s names are forgotten or not listed today. The Kakemono in your possession is well executed and most likely dates to the late Meiji period around 1900. The estimate is based on similar paintings of similar condition by lesser known artists offered or sold at auction
