There is a group of furniture, much of it made in England, called "Green Man" furniture which features carved faces or masks and refers to pre-Christian mythology but has been made in many different Western cultures and centuries, mostly in Europe.
If you'd like this appraisal to include dimensions - which is customary - please send the overall height, width across the arms and the length of the rockers and I'll update this ASAP.
