A gold pocket watch, about 50cm in diameter. No brand stamps anywhere on it. A button is pressed to pop open full plain cover with plain roman numerals and a small seconds dial at the 6 that is slightly tilted. Hands are plain stick with a circle towards the tip Inside back and front cover is stamped 18K and 32022 Inside back cover on lid of gears are 2 tiny holes they have tiny silver pins, On the inside of the gears cover is also stamped 32022 and a tiny stamp of 3602 #/# ( a tiny fraction I cant read) The gears are laid out with a long bar on top with a 1/2 bar 1/2 circle in the middle and a small bar 3rd to the left of the circle There are 2 purple crystals on the middle and 3rd bar and more further inside The metal in the inside is all silver/steal toned, flathead screws a 20 cm loop on top with the push button A 28cm sturdy gold chain with a 4cm peg on end that has a 8mm purple gem and decorative stamping on sides

This was my Great Grandfather's. His family came from England in the early 1800 and they settled on Shelter Island in New York. He was a reasonably wealthy man Like upper middle class, who came from a family in good standings in England.
