Thank you so much! It was driving me crazy trying to find anything about this bowl. I have 6 dinner plates with 3 in excellent condition and a soup bowl in the same condition. Utensil marks on those plates. I think it’s a beautiful pattern. Much nicer than all the pink floral designs I see. Do you have any idea the year of this piece or name, Schleiger number? Thank you again and best regards, Mona

Delia Sep 12, 21:14 UTC

I couldn't see the number but its definitely a 20th century form. Are the other pieces you have part of the same set/pattern? Did you want those included in this appraisal? I can easily amend if they are part of the same set...

They are the same design. Three of the plates and the soup bowl don’t appear to have been used. The gilt stamp is quite clear and bright. Some of the gilding has rubbed off the rim on all of the pieces as expected. Three plates have utensil marks and the gilded stamp is quite pale. How would I go about selling the set if I decide to do it through Mearto? Thank you again. Mona

If you want to sell the entire set, can you take/upload photos of all of them? I should also include the dimensions (height, widest diameter)...

I would like to sell this bowl. although, I do love it so much. The garland just has something about it I find mesmerizing. One soup bowl is in beautiful condition as are 3 dinner plates. 3 of the 6 dinner plates have utensil marks. I'd like the entire set to be sold together. The 3 plates can be added as a bonus to the buyer or reduced in price according to wear. Thank you.

I am happy to amend the appraisal to include the soup bowls and dinner plates but I need to see photographs of everything before I can add them to the appraisal. Thank you!

Hello, I will take photos of the bowl and plates. Will there be an additional charge to appraise these additional 7 items? I can send photos of the bowl, one of the best of the 3 good plates and one of the not so great plates. Those 3 have utensil marks and fading of the armorial mark. Thank you, Lisa.

Hi Lisa,
You would only be charged if you started a completely separate appraisal; there is no additional charge for adding on to this (or another appraisal) that has been started but not yet completed.
