What does this mean?

Hi Nataliia,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
There may be a label or brand in a discrete place (inside a door or drawer, or on the back) that identifies who made it - from what I can see, this was made in the second half of the 20th Century.
Based on the photographs and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:

A Renaissance Revival style painted chest on chest / entertainment (media) cabinet
Possibly American, second half 20th Century
In two pieces, the upper piece fitted with two cabinet doors with painted landscape decoration and Asian style hardware, opening to reveal a green-painted divided interior, the lower half with compound mid-molding over two paneled cabinet doors raised on a carved molding on carved feet.
61 inches high, 36 inches wide, 20 inches deep
PROVENANCE: inherited from neighbor
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition with wear commensurate to age and use.
$300-500*
*represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.

Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, and thank you for using Mearto.

Hello! The height is 61 inches
The depth is 36 inches and width is 20 inches
So the pice is $300-$500?

Delia Jul 24, 17:03 UTC

I've updated the description with the dimensions - thanks!
$300-500 is the fair-market (auction) range of values similar chests/cabinets are bringing at auction these days. Sometimes more, sometimes less but generally speaking, within that range.

Thank you

I added two more photos. Honestly, I hoped that the chest is more valuable.
I paid for 3 appraisal. Will I get 2 more?

Delia Jul 24, 17:09 UTC

Everyone wants their things to be more valuable; as much as I'd like to give more optimistic news, it doesn't serve you well to mislead you as to what you have is worth.

If you've paid for 3 appraisals, you should be able to add two more additional, in any category.

I have a painting. How can I show it for a second appraisal?

Delia Jul 24, 17:36 UTC

You have to create a new inquiry for that work. I see you have two paintings that you have created inquiries for (one of which I can do, the other will be done by another appraiser).
