What does this mean?

Dear Gary,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. My sincere apologies for the delay with the apprisal.

The presented object appears to be a Chateau Souverain Rutherford 1970 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley. The bottle and the labels are in good condition and the cork is undamaged.
Comparable wines were recently rarely offered and sold on the international auction market.
A fair market estimation would be between 80 to 160 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.

With kind regards,
Georg
