What does this mean?

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.

It is a beautiful doll. Such collectors dolls are being offered at auction on a regular basis. It is a doll made to resemble antique dolls but made by a very good dollmaker in the late 1900s or beginning of the 21st century. These type of dolls are collectors items however they have not yet exceeded their original retail sales value in second hand value. It is a lovely doll with many details.

The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online toys auction, where I believe the doll has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the doll. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I’m happy to help.
Thank you
