This apparently is a second half 20th century oriental rug style tapestry, showing a somewhat persian abstract pattern, mostly read hue colours with a darker border. The colours are synthetic. It is a very decorative rug with a soft high pile, and most likely of long lasting quality. The estimate is based on similar items offered or sold at auction.
