I do not know anything about this piece. My mother has had it ever since I was a child. My mother is from Germany so it may be German. It is sort of like a bowl with a lid. It is made of some sort of metal. I would say approximately 4-5 inches in diameter and probably about 3-4 inches tall. I would really like to find out what it is.

This belongs to my mother. She has had it ever since I was a child. She believes it used to belong to her father. My mother came here from Germany.
